Given Time

Do not worry about the sky,

DDT and things that die

'Though the air may turn on us,

What the heck's the use to fuss?

Just pay heed to what wise men say:

Given time, it'll all all all go 'way.

Why worry about wars we fight?

We only kill because its right.

Big shells soar; big bombs drop

but, when we're all dead, war will stop.

It's just like those wise men say:

Given time, it'll all all all go 'way.

And no need to worry about the sea,

Because we feed it our foul debris

But when the weeds and fish all die,

The earth will surely close her eye.

And so it is as wise men say:

Given time, it'll all all all go 'way.
